Welcome to Oni (www.buildwithoni.com), an AI-powered website builder for Indian small businesses, operated by Jinnaram Uttej, Hyderabad, Telangana.

1. What We Collect

Information you give us directly:

• Name, business name, phone number, email
• Business details (industry, services, location, colors, logo) provided during website generation
• Messages and chat history within Oni

Information we collect automatically:

• Website usage data (pages visited, features used)
• Generated website analytics (visitor counts, traffic sources) for published sites
• Device type, browser, approximate location, IP address for security purposes

Information from public sources:

• Business contact details (name, phone, address) gathered from Google Maps and similar public directories for outreach purposes

2. How We Use Your Information

• To generate AI-powered websites based on your business description and brand preferences
• To store your brand context so follow-up edits stay consistent
• To show you analytics about your published website
• To contact businesses about our website services via WhatsApp or email
• To improve Oni's AI generation quality

We do NOT sell your information to third parties, use your website content to train external AI models, or share your business data with advertisers.

3. Your Generated Websites

Websites generated by Oni belong to you. We store them in our database to power your live published site.

4. WhatsApp Outreach

If we contact you via WhatsApp, it's because your business appears in a public directory and we believe Oni could help you. You can opt out instantly by replying STOP or "not interested," and we will never contact you again.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Supabase with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement Row Level Security so users only access their own data, and HTTPS on all connections. We retain your data as long as your account is active; on account deletion we remove your personal data within 30 days.

6. Sign-In

You may sign in using Google OAuth. We only access basic profile information (name, email) needed to create and manage your account.

7. Third-Party Services

Oni uses these third-party services: Supabase (database and authentication), Cloudflare (hosting/security), OpenRouter (AI text generation), Vercel (hosting and deployment), Resend (transactional email), and Google OAuth (sign-in). Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

8. Your Rights
